  • Works with management team to support the agency
  • Problem solves and initiates positive solutions
  • Sets personal goals and objectives to foster growth
  • Gives feedback of others in a positive manner
  • Respects the confidentiality of children, families and staff
  • Establishes systems and processes to streamline the scholarship process
Family Services Administration:
  • Supervises and administers family support program through assistance application process.
  • Meets regularly with families to support them through various assistance, job training and scholarship programs.
  • Acts as the formal agency contact with the Department of Health and Human Services and the Division of Children, Youth and Families.
  • Works closely with Finance Manager and Executive Director to distribute financial aid and scholarships
  • Assists Executive Director in grant reporting
  • Recruits, manages and supervises all agency volunteers.
  • Serve on Board Access Committee
  • Act as the liaison with local organizations that support families, such as Gather, Families First and Crossroads
  • Facilitate Adopt-A-Family program annually
  • Helps organize and set up for professional development days and agency special events
  • Participates in professional development
  • Provides classroom coverage as needed
  • Other duties as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills, ability to work under pressure in a busy setting, and ability to work with various computer programs.
  • Knowledge of NH State Assistance Program preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION:      To assist Seacoast area families in need access the high-quality early education and childcare services available at Seacoast Community School through tuition assistance, scholarship, grants and other means

POSITION:                       Family Services Coordinator

STATUS:                           Part time, hourly approximately 20 hrs/ week

SCHEDULE:                    Varies (Flexible to meet agency needs)
