Final Kindergarten Entry Assessment and Transition Report

The NH Departments of Education and Health and Human Services are working to establish a statewide Kindergarten Entry Assessment (KEA) process that shows what children know and are able to do when they enter kindergarten. The KEA/Transition Task Force (2021, December) provided important recommendations on KEA tools, as well as on evidence-based and promising practices to support children and their families to transition successfully from pre-kindergarten to kindergarten programs.
