This position supports Green Mountain Children’s Center by maintaining a caring and safe environment. Primary duties include supervising children and managing the assigned classroom effectively. This contributes to the overall success of the program and helps create relationships with all children, families, and coworkers. Responsibilities include: creating and maintaining an inviting and developmentally appropriate environment, creating positive relationships with children and families, positive communication with children, families and staff, planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum that includes all developmental areas and encourages creativity and exploration, and actively engages with children in their play. GMCC and its affiliates reserve the right to assign other duties to any employee at any time depending upon business needs.
