Associate/Lead Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and committed individual to join our team! GMCC has a strong team and works together to provide a fun, safe environment for children to learn and grow. We also provide a fun, team atmosphere where we work hard together, have fun, and grow as professionals. We are in search of an experienced, full-time (Monday-Friday) Associate  or Lead Teacher to work with preschool age children.    Must be NH Childcare Licensing Associate or Lead Teacher Qualified. High school diploma, or equivalent, required. (A minimum of 9 ECE credits, including one three-credit course in Child Growth and Development preferred.)  One or more years of experience (preferably in an early childhood setting).  Must complete required First Aid and CPR training.    

 

This position supports Green Mountain Children’s Center by maintaining a caring and safe environment. Primary duties include supervising children and managing the assigned classroom effectively. This contributes to the overall success of the program and helps create relationships with all children, families, and coworkers.    Responsibilities include: creating and maintaining an inviting and developmentally appropriate environment, creating positive relationships with children and families, positive communication with children, families and staff, planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum that includes all developmental areas and  encourages creativity and exploration, and actively engages with children in their play.    GMCC and its affiliates reserve the right to assign other duties to any employee at any time depending upon business needs.
