Responsibilities: ∙Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and maintain necessary certifications ∙Be a lead teacher in a preschool classroom 5 mornings a week and work 5 afternoons in the office to perform Director administrative duties ∙Collaborate with Executive Board, Business Manager, and staff on policies and procedures ∙Mentor and support teaching staff in curriculum development and professional growth ∙Conduct teacher observations and evaluations in accordance with our Policies and Procedures handbook ∙Interview prospective employees in conjunction with the Executive Board and Business Manager ∙Communicate regularly with families and update school website and social media platforms ∙Attend all staff meetings, Executive Board meetings, and community events as requiredQualifications: ∙Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education (Master’s degree preferred) ∙Meet all State of New Hampshire Bureau of Childcare Licensing requirements for a Center Director ∙Knowledge of NH state licensing regulations and procedures ∙Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills ∙Experience in curriculum planning and development ∙Ability to work collaboratively with our Executive Board, Business Manager and Teaching Staff ∙Computer literate, with proficiency and working knowledge of Google Docs ∙First Aid and CPR certification required Send resume and cover letter to [email protected]  

Job description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to hire as the Preschool Director. The Center Director will play a pivotal role in the overall management and success of our institution, overseeing various aspects of operations,
staff management, and community engagement.  This is a full-time contracted
position, beginning end of August – June each year.  Summer hours are also required
as needed and are paid outside of the contracted salary.  Salary range $45,000-$50,000
