Primary areas of work concentration & reporting to Owner:
Life Safety & Operations Training Report & ED Montessori Curriculum Report: Uphold the highest level of care and safety of children (work in partnership with the Executive Director to Montessori to implement the philosophy each day)
EDO Staffing Report: Lead the staff each day with a physical presence & work with partnership with the Chief of Staff to maintain quality and satisfied staff
EDO Enrollment & Family Relations Report: Quality communication with families and community stakeholders. Demonstrate financial prudence by working with the admissions team to maintain capacity & schedule staff per State guidelines
EDO Report Bi-weekly School Tour & School Director's Report: Ensure safe school environments in partnership with the facilities team
EDO Government Relations Report: Maintain communication with State Licensors, remain up to date with all DHHS news and policies, and serves as a political voice and activist for the children, staff, and familiesRequirements
Proven leadership experience of at least 5 years in a Supervisory capacity
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Early Childhood Education
Knowledge of the State of NH Licensing Rules preferred
Experience working with diverse stakeholders in a school setting such as educators, families, and administrators.
Direct experience in developing/implementing/ evaluating programs, teacher training, admissions, school reviews, etc. is highly desirable
Analytical and creative thinker with great attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing
Strong program-solving skills, able to define problems, troubleshoot and resolve them quickly and appropriately.
Self-motivated and self-accountable able to meet strict deadlines
Must be CPR / First Aid Certified
Must clear a State criminal background check and a standard drug screening
The Executive Director of Operations position is a hands-on leadership position that provides superintendence of all Little Tree Education locations. The EDO keeps the Owner and Chief of Staff informed of any significant issues. The EDO is responsible for working in tandem with the EDM to maintain the safest and highest level of education instruction and care at every moment of every day.
