Center Director

• Administers a high-quality learning center that fosters a nurturing environment with a play-based curriculum, that meets the developmental needs of each child and family.
• Manages the Learning Center in compliance with NH DHHS Child Care Licensing Rules.
• Secures certification of quality via NAEYC Accreditation or NH Granite Steps for Quality.
• Develops annual budget and effectively manages the financial operation of the center.
• Maintains the Learning Center enrollment at capacity, maximizing service to CH employees.
• Hires, engages with and develops a "best in class" team of teachers and other staff who are passionate and committed professionals.

Education: Meet the minimum requirements set forth by the DHHS Child Care Licensing Unit for a center director in a center-based program, including 3 credits in management or supervision awarded by an accredited college or university, or a minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory or management position. Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or a related field preferred. Experience: Minimum - 1 year full time teaching experience in an early childhood program and minimum of 2 years experience supervising staff. Preferred - at least 3 years of child care center leadership experience Other: Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Power Point

Responsible for the the daily operation of Concord Hospital’s employer-supported child care center including staffing, programming, budgeting, client contacts, licensing, quality improvement systems, record keeping, billing and purchasing.
