Lead Teacher
A lead teacher must respect young children and their families, and have
knowledge and skills that support children’s learning. Lead teachers
understand children’s cognitive, emotional, social and physical development
and use this knowledge to develop a curriculum and classroom environment in
which children will learn and succeed. As the leader of the educational team,
lead teachers are responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team. They
must be skilled in communicating with adults, so they can work effectively
with families and the members of their teaching team.
Associate Teacher
Associate teachers help to create a warm, caring, and safe environment to support children and teachers in ways that improve the overall quality of care and education. The associate teacher has knowledge of early childhood growth and development, as well as health, safety, and nutrition as it affects young children. As a member of an educational team, the associate teacher must be able to communicate with colleagues, listen well, and work effectively with others. The associate teacher works under the direct supervision and observation of a lead teacher or director.Minimum of 18 credits in ECE.
Have a working knowledge of the NH State Licensing Regulations.
Maintain a current CPR/First Aid card.
Complete 18 hours of trainings in Early Childhood per year.
Complete 3 hours of Health & Safety per year
Attend staff meetings.

Our infant classroom needs a dedicated and caring lead teacher beginning in August. Minimum of Associate qualifications, but Lead qualified preferred. We are also in need of another full-time teacher, minimum of Associate level qualifications. These positions are full-time, year-round, with an HRA, paid time off and holiday pay.
